Bean, Sprout and the biggest suprise of our lives...

Today was my 20 week ultrasound and it went like this....
Go back to the room, lay down, goop on belly, wand on belly and Radiologist saying "Do twins run in your family" and me saying "ummmm No" and thinking "Wow i can't believe he plays this joke on his patients, he will probably be telling me just kidding soon." But no, not kidding, there are 2 in there....bean and sprout. Fraternal (not identical), measuring great and looking on track. Now to digest the info.

Rainy Weekend

This weekend I decided to start some birthday and christmas presents for Daphne. So far I made...

A chocolate donut with pink sparkly icing and sprinkles (out of felt)

Two crayon rolls...

And am still working on some hand puppets!

And just for fun, here she is practicing on the potty.

Big Girl Bed

Daphne's big girl bed arrived at the beginning of this week and is officially set up in her very own big girl room! She has slept in the past 3 nights and done really well. These pictures are from the unpacking of the mattress to the move all the way to her room, with a stop over in the front hall to jump on it that pretty much made her year. She still goes in there looking for it.

Harvest Day Fun

We had a good weekend, went to our friends house and did a pumpkin search in his backyard and then went to the Harvest Fest with some friends. Daphne loved it...

Adorable...and hungry

Daphne's favorite snack is an apple, she can eat a whole one by herself (minus the skin that has to be bitten off by us, don't even try to peel it off before hand). This apple is from Door County. The pig tails are her new hair feature and my favorite!

Fall fun

We had a busy and productive fall weekend. Daphne had a blast on Saturday going to the farm that we get our vegetables from every week (they had an open house). She went on a hay ride, saw lots of pumpkins and some cows up close. Here is a picture of her tossing some hay around, looking at the cows and sitting with the pumpkins. There were lots of little kids there for her to play with so she was tired out when we got home. She took a good nap then we went to dinner at John and Greta's so she had some Olivia play time too. Sunday was a low key day around the house, we made chicken and dumplings and sauteed apples and cinnamon. We are so happy it's fall!
