I'm coming to get you Mom...

Good Morning, we made it to the end of our week! Yay! The teeth are still painful and the nose is still running but we have made it through another week. She is really starting to move around now. She can crawl from the living room to wherever I go. Yesterday I took of her diaper in the bedroom for her bath and she booked it once she felt the freedom. I followed her wondering where she would end up. With her little bath wash cloth in her hand, so I wouldn't have to carry it, of course, she crawled across the bedroom, into the hall, into the bathroom, over to the bathtub and pulled herself up on the tub wall. She was ready for her bath dang it and we were not fast enough. It was pretty cute, naked and all. Needless to say we will be getting baby gates this weekend. We are heading down to Chicago this weekend to visit John, Heather and Lennon. It will be the 2nd time they have seen her so we can't wait. Have a great weekend everyone!

They're back....

Good Morning everyone...only 1 day left, what a great week! Yesterday was an ok day for Peanut at school, she is teething again so it was a little rough all in all. We should be happy since we had a long no teething time but it's still always so hard when you can see the little white nub almost poking through the gums and she is protesting in pain. We are fully stocked up on out teething remedy, thanks to grandpa, so at least we are set to go. I can't get the pictures to work this morning so you'll have to envision and little squirming teething bundle of happiness. Have a great Wednesday!

Dance To The Music

Good Morning everyone, I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend. We had a nice relaxing weekend here. The weather was great and we got to hang out around home for most of it. Here is a brief list of some of our weekend adventures...
Went on a back to school clothing shopping spree for Peanut at Kohls
Went to the post office 3 times
Got a fun new zebra toy for Peanut to play with
Went to the farmers market
Went on a walk by the lake
Went to the coffee shop
Tried Chicken for the first time
Made sweet potatoes and beets for later this week
Napped
Cuddled
Read books
Played with toys
Ate zeus's tail
Pulled up on everything and danced, danced, danced

Weekend Fun

We are having a great 4 day weekend...look at the treats I made for Peanut....The little animals name is Pandu (named by Mike of course). The bib is suppose to be a flower, not sure if it turned the best, they were both first attempts.

Yogurt & Pancakes

Yay, we have reached this weeks finish line!! One day left and we are free.... So far this week has gone pretty well, nothing too exciting to report. Daphne has been trying yogurt for the past few days and seems to like it so far. She also ate dinner with us last night officially for the first time. We had pancakes and so did she. We put some cut up pieces on her tray and she munched away. Some even had a little yogurt spread on them. She seemed to love them so that is good. Hope you all have a great Thursday. Not sure if I will post tomorrow, if the stars align I'm sure you'll see something, but, if not, have a great long weekend and i will see you Tuesdday!

Comments Appreciated

I call this picture "I'm suppose to be in bed but I wouldn't sleep so dad built me a fort" (insert baby laughs here). The other night she was just not ready to go to sleep so we came downstairs and played a bit, she thought it was just hilarious, in her drool stained PJ's and all. Our week is going pretty good. The mornings are chilly but the days are sunny and pretty decent. Thought I'd use this post as an opportunity to say thanks to those that comment on my posts, it's fun to read picture comments or just day to day comments, like a little treat every time I sit down to post. Wardrobe Change

One day down for the week, 3 more to go! Yesterday was a pretty usual Monday. School and work went well as we all readjusted back into the week. This whole week should be pretty uneventful for us so that's kind of nice. Then it will be a 4 day weekend! Yay for the bonus from Labor Day! Its been pretty chilly out here lately so we are busting out Peanuts fall clothes. I am realizing that she doesn't have all that many and will need some more pants and long sleeve shirts in order to make it in our frigid Wisconsin temps so I will add that to my to do list for this weekend.
